Biography

Suresh Rao is a development professional with 25 years of experience including 10 years of leadership positions encompassing the NGO, INGO and Corporate CSR sectors. Having taken a sabbatical in 2020 he recently launched the Anusandhan Foundation to promote Research, Training & Publications concerning public policy education.

From composing reports for the UNCRC to setting up India’s first rural child helpline and incubating disruptive innovation through CSR projects, he is passionate about tech-enabled solutions to increase quality of life for local communities.

Rao has a flair for writing, high proficiency in group facilitation, a team player, voracious reader, a keen ear for global music and comperes musical events as passion gigs. His next venture will be a podcast channel focusing on climate change and permaculture.
