Biography

Gladston Xavier is an associate professor in Social Work at Loyola College Chennai. He practices social work among the most marginalised communities in South Asia. He has spent a lot of time researching and working with refugees. He specialises in community development, dialogue, conflict transformation and peace building. He is currently the acting chairperson of the Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network. His most recent interest is in the field of organic farming and sustainable development.
