Organisation Biography
Terre des Hommes Netherlands (TDH-Nl) works to prevent child exploitation, remove children from exploitative situations, and ensures the children can develop themselves in a safe environment. The work is collaborative with family, environment and other organisations.
Across Asia, TDH-Nl works in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines and Thailand. TDH-Nl has goals specifically aligned to the UN sustainable development goals: 1 (no poverty), 3 (good health and wellbeing), 4 (quality education), 5 (gender equality), 8 (decent work and economic growth), 16 (peace, justice and strong institutions), addressing child exploitation, child labour, child trafficking and migration, child abuse and sexual and reproductive health rights, through prevention, provision, promotion and justice-seeking.
